An introduction to Turkey

Acting as the stepping stone between the modern western world and the ancient east, Turkey retains a jumbled balance of both worlds. There are a wonderful display of cultures in this country, which blend together well with little conflict or issue. There really is something for everyone in Turkey, Modern city boutiques on the doorsteps of ancient and exotic bazaars that both press for customers alike, whilst the pealing of the Church bells competes with the daily calling of the Mosques. These sights and sounds are simply the norm in a country where opposites coexist comfortably. Not only is there an array of cultures in Turkey, this fabulous country offers an outstanding supply of different landscapes as you travel within it's boundaries. From one looking for history and intrigue to sun, shopping and fun, there is a resort to please everyone here.

It's luxurious hotels are at your beckon call all year round, and the nightlife is a force to be reckoned with in this lively city that boasts an almost mystical ambience. The most popular areas of Turkey are along the Aegean Coast, where visitors can enjoy water sports, bask on the Golden Sands of Bodrum, Kusadasi and Gumbet then take excursions to the breath-taking cities of Troy and Ephesus or peruse the unlikely landscape of Pammukale. Aside from the picturesque seaside resorts, fascinating historical sites and outstanding shopping, Turkey, offers something that many countries cannot touch upon. The astounding hospitality and welcoming attitude of the Turkish people is one aspect that most visitors comment upon. No matter where one visits in Turkey, a package holiday to this country is guaranteed to be ultimately satisfying.
